Textured Chopping Boards
Marble and wood chopping boards can be pricey and heavy so these small wipeable chopping boards are just perfect for displacing products on or propping up in a setup. My favorite has to be the rustic wood effect board.
Decorative Mason Jar
Simple, cheap and stunning, mason jars are great especially for food photography. Decorate them with ribbons and stylish fabric napkins.
Wooden Bowls
This prop speaks for itself. I have a variety of wooden bowls at home with different shades and sizes. I use them in almost all my picture. Nowadays, collecting wooden bowls for product photography has become a hobby.
Stunning Wooden Trays
Same as for wooden bowls, finding a stunning wooden tray when I am out thrift hopping is like hitting the jackpot (the joys of being an adult, sigh).
Gold Pineapple Trinket Dish
If you love a cliché blog prop (I know I do), then you may want to pick up this little cutie! Not only will this work well as a space filler in blog images, but you can use it as a ring/key/change dish. I love anything pineapple themed, so I really adore this!
Acacia Tree Bark
I love using these cute Acacia tree barks to use as stands for product photography or to use as decorations for a beautiful set table.
Pink Himalayan Salt
Himalayan salt gives a spa vibe, as it looks like bath salts, that is why they are perfect for beauty products. They look beautiful to spread around to complement a picture about beauty tools or brands.

Acrylic Ice Cubes
Just because it is much more convenient to always have ice cubes than depending on your freezer. Also, during summer months, keeping an ice cube alive can be quite the daunting task. That is why having acrylic ice cubes at hands is always a good idea, in my opinion.
Beautiful Candles
Candles are the ultimate prop. Light it up, or leave it unburned, every photographer should have a few candle options at hand to be used as props, even if it is just to be used in the background.
Zoeva Style 12-Piece Makeup Brush Set
This one of my favorite blog props as it’s so inexpensive and the rose gold and pale pink combo works well in most flat lays. They are also pretty amazing brushes, so much so I have two sets – one set to actually use, and one for flat lays!
Faux Fur
These are great to lay your products on top for a dreamy, girly aesthetic. Careful to keep your fur clean and proper. Nothing is worse than those seemingly cheap furs in product photography, in my opinion.
Rustic Chalkboard Sign
These are so cute and so dynamic. You can easily personalize any picture with these cute, rustic chalkboards. Write down the ingredients for a recipe, the name of a product, your brand’s name, the sky is the limit, really.
Letter Board with Rustic Wood Frame
An alternative to the chalkboard, why not spell out your message with this cute letterbox with a wooden frame?
Mixed Gemstones
These are great to fill in blank spaces when you are on a rut and out of ideas. Simply scatter a few mixed gemstones around and watch as your picture seemingly transforms.
Wire Micro Fairy Lights (battery operated)
Fairy lights work great in blog photos but they can sometimes be a bit too bulky and hard to fit around products so these wire micro lights are just perfect. In fact, you can even wrap them around products! Again I have two sets of these, one for including in images and the other just as decoration wrapped around some ladder shelves.
Decorative Coffee Table Tray
I love table trays for any occasion. A movie sessions is so much more elegant when we have a table tray with popcorn, drinks and other yummy snacks. Alternatively, nothing feels nicer that having a nice tea
Jewelry Dishes
I also loved this seashell-shaped jewelry dish for summer photography.
Satin Ribbons
So adorable and also one of my favorite props. I love how it can transform a simple object into so much more. Ribbons are a great way to set a story and give some emotion to a picture. Something about it reminds us of presents and good times.
Confetti
Thank God for product photography and bringing confetti back into my life. My childhood as not complete without confetti in Brazilian carnival and I feel like a kid every time I grab a packet full of confetti for props. My OCD boyfriend is not the biggest fan, as you can imagine.
Gold Stork Scissors
Probably the most popular item in all flat lay, I am sure you’ve seen them around before. If you’re into flat lay photography, a delicate, golden scissors is a great prop to have.
Marble Sticky Contact Paper
If you are shooting flatlays then marble contact paper is a must! The first link is to a very inexpensive single sheet that would fit an A2 wooden board (I opt for ply wood as it’s light and cheap) or you can go for a roll so that you have extra. I really don’t know where I’d be without my DIY marble board.
Wooden Love Ornament
As they say, ‘’love is in the air’’. These are simple, cheap and make for a very interesting photo background.
Copper Mirrored Tray | Silver finish here
If you are looking for an interesting way of displaying product then this little tray may just be perfect. With a mirrored bottom all products placed on the tray instantly look more interesting and photogenic I’ve found. The tray is also perfect for displaying candles on both for in images and the home.

SOME FLORA OPTIONS:
Faux Eucalyptus Stems
Foliage and flowers make lovely blog photography props but the reality is they wilt and die within a number of days. With that in mind, I like to opt for realistic looking faux greenery to reuse in most of my photography (and as an added bonus, something that I can also display when they’re not in use).
Eucalyptus always looks stunning in images so this faux option is a bit of a gem!
Dried Flower Petals
Sure you can DIY your old flower bouquets, but who has time for that? For such a cheap price on Amazon (and being delivered the next day), I’d rather buy my dried flower petals online (for convenience).
Rose Petals
Same goes to rose petals. These stunning dried rose petals found on Amazon can make any picture look dreamy. Throw them over magazines, book covers, makeup stands and tell a romantic and feminine story every time you take a picture.
Artificial Baby’s Breath Flowers
I know, the name ‘’baby breath’’ sounds freaky. The first time I heard it, I had to double check if I was searching the right thing.
Baby breath flowers are now probably my favorite props for photography I love how everything looks so delicate with baby breath flowers in the background.
